Evangelism

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

– Matthew 28:18 – 20 (‭ESV‬‬)

Evangelism3

Making Disciples

Before ascending back to the Father, Jesus commanded His disciples to make disciples of all nations. This task includes sharing the Gospel with unbelievers and teaching new believers to obey everything He has commanded.

We all have family members, friends, neighbors and colleagues who are far from God. Many of them do not know the true message of the Gospel. We may well be the best person to explain the Gospel to them.

Our evangelism ministry stirs believers to share the Gospel with those who need to hear it. We meet every fourth Sunday of the month from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m.

During this time, members of the group fellowship and share a meal. We keep each other accountable in a caring manner and equip one another in practical ways. We also practice and role-play sharing the gospel, or bridging a casual conversation to a conversation about God.

Our group discusses and prays for people we know who are far from God. We intentionally set goals to apply what we learn and to share the gospel.
